Advertisers
Commercial advertisers may be allocated an advert that can be placed in a box as shown above, 300 x 100 pixels in size, and at the top of any page of their choosing subject to availability. We shall allow only one advert per page. You will also be given a small link on the Links page, at a size of 150 x 40 pixels, as below:-
Page adverts will be linked direct to the advertiser's web site, and will be accepted only after confirmation by the Staffordshire Scout County Executive, and provided it is in accordance with the County Policy on Advertising.
Charges
For a 300 x 100 pixel advert on a page of the advertsisers choosing as illustrated, plus a 150 x 40 link on the Links page, there will be a charge of £12.00 per calendar year or proportion thereof. If there is less than 6 months remaining of the year, then the remaining complete months, plus the following year will be charged. If more than 6 months is remaining of the year, then £1.00 per complete month will be charged. Artwork and correspondence must be sent to the email address below. There will be no set-up fee. Cheques must be made payable to Staffordshire County Scout Association and must be received before the advert is made live. Send no money with your application, you will be billed when it has been approved with the appropriate amount.
No advertising for alcoholic beverages, lottery or gambling of any sort will be permitted, nor will adverts for web sites that might be deemed to be offensive to young people. The front page is not available for advertising.
