An introduction to Camping Abroad


Welcome to the International Pages of Staffordshire Scouts Web Site. I hope that both Leaders and Scouts will find the site both useful and informative.

Leaders will find that the links will take you to the relevant pieces of information, such as on Scoutbase UK where all the International Fact sheets can be found and loads of ideas, games and activities are also available from the programme section.

For Scouts or groups wishing to make contact with Scouts from abroad follow the Pen Pals link which will take you to the part of Scoutbase dealing with links to Individuals and groups, here you can forge links which can often lead to exchange visits.

From time to time you will find Challenges and competitions will be posted for you to take part in. A message board to ask for help from other Scouts or Leaders who have been abroad if you are planning such a trip.

For Scouts Explorers and Network who have taken part in a Scout trip abroad, your first Challenge should you choose to accept it - is to write a short article about your experiences and email it together with photos if you have any to either the Webmaster or myself and we will put it up on the site.
