County Air Activities Advisor

We see our job as Air Activities Advisors as threefold - to provide assistance and advice for anyone undertaking air activities, to promote these activities throughout Staffordshire Scout County as part of our training programme and to promote the county air activities team programme.

We are pushing for air activities at a District level and at County level, but the real pressure must come from section level, there are available, programmes for young people in the Cub Scout, Scout, Explorer Scout, Network and Leader levels. If you would like air activities in your programme then you will have to make it happen.

We will help you as much as we can with resources. For example:

• We can link you with the right people and NGB to help you with your plans.
• We can visit your group or training course and speak about the options available.
• We can visit your section and give demonstrations or provide an air activity evening programme.
• We can assess young people applying for an air activities badge if you do not have a local resource person with the right background.
• We can try to answer your questions by telephone or Email.
