Safe Keeping of Air Rifles

Fact Sheet 1200004 which is linked above - Rules for Target Shooting - represents all the rules regarding shooting within the scout association and this is the minimum requirements to run ANY shooting. If any leaders out there do not hold one of the required qualifications then they must stop as they will not be covered with any insurance.

We need to see physical proof that they are qualified, so as to fulfill our commitment to the county and will be shortly offering the YPS instructor course to the leaders within the county that require it or need it to run shooting as an activity.
